U.S. fintech companies under attack

The referendum in the UK, the presidential election in the United States – this year turned out to be quite difficult and unpredictable for financial and technological organizations around the world.

As a result of the referendum, British fintech companies were seriously worried, and in fact London was previously the center of fintech.

Now, fintech companies in the United States are also under attack. After the election and Trump’s victory, the market found itself in a very uncertain situation, if not in a situation of complete chaos.

Trump seriously intends to revise many trade agreements, in particular, with neighbors – Canada and Mexico. And this can seriously affect the US economy.

If restrictions on international business are imposed, then fintech companies will have no choice but to relocate to Canada.

Moreover, Trump’s uneasy attitude towards foreign employees, who are mainly employed in fintech companies, again puts these companies in a difficult position. Practically, this can put the entire business on hold.
