Spanish Regulator Warns – Binary Options Broker Empire Options

The regulator of the financial market in Spain, Comisió n Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV)), which is responsible for supervising the financial and securities market in Spain, and which ensures that the activities of all market participants are transparent, as well as protecting the interests of investors, has recently carried out a series of activities that have resulted in the issuance of a series of warnings to inform Spanish investors of entities that do not have proper authorization.

These warnings apply to several Forex and binary options brokers who have provided services without proper licenses. The ranks of such brokers included FXMARKER, Imperial Options, Financika, Safeklik and BK Trading.

According to the latest statement, the last such broker was EmpireOptions, CNMV noted that the company does not have the right to provide investment services, including the provision of consulting services, on such a financial instrument as noting that this company is not authorised to provide investment services, Forex. In accordance with the Spanish legislation on the securities market, organizations that wish to engage in this type of activity must have all permits and licenses.

It should also be noted that Spain’s CNMV is not the first Spanish regulator to warn about Empireoption. com, for example, in France, this broker has also been blacklisted since 2014.

On the official website of the broker (empireoption. com) does not provide any information on licenses, authorizations or permits, nor does the physical address of the company be indicated, it is simply stated that all transactions are carried out by Brighton Digital Services Ltd, which is headquartered in London. However, nevertheless, the company’s website has been translated into Spanish and French.
